The beauty of the city with all of its freeway interchanges, traffic, and hubbub, is sometimes lost in the business of activity.  Complex freeway interchanges, combined with congested traffic, confusing tunnels and brightly lit signs, are sometimes overwhelming to the motorist.  Drivers struggle to find the correct lane, watching for merging traffic and exits.  The intricate structure of lines and perspective, the light and reflections of traffic lights and freeway signs, plus the complexity of auto portraits has inspired me to take a second look.
